27.09.2018 – Armidale, New South Wales

Once again, we lack the time to explore further afield than the roads we travel on. Leaving Nundle early in the morning, long before Perth business hours, we got as far as Armidale before Lee’s work started arriving. Parking near the Tourist Bureau, we loaded up on information for when next in the area. A free service operates (bookings in advance required) to take tourists to main points of interests during a 2.1/2.hour bus trip. Self-guided walking and driving tours of the area are available. So much to see! How often we say: Want to come back here for a couple of weeks! Mike took the opportunity to walk around the centre of Armidale. The 1912 heritage listed, Saints Mary and Joseph Catholic Cathedral dominated the view of Dangar Street and is visible from most parts of the city. And work done, we hit the road again.
